Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 August 2026
Secure Storage NSW ("we", "us") is committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Contact details: name, phone, email, residential address.
- NSW firearms licence number, and the registration details of firearms you store with us.
- Booking and payment details (payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number).
- Intake records: serial numbers, condition photographs and inventory tags for stored firearms.
Why we collect it
- To provide storage services and meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed firearms dealer under the Firearms Act 1996 (NSW).
- To verify your licence and each firearm's registration before intake.
- To contact you about your booking, renewals, and the return of your firearms.
Who we share it with
- NSW Police Firearms Registry — where required by law as part of dealer record-keeping and firearms transactions.
- Service providers — Stripe (payments), SMTP2GO (email delivery), and our website hosting provider, each only to the extent needed to run the service.
- We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party marketing.
Storage and security
Records are held in secured systems with access limited to authorised staff. For security reasons we do not disclose our storage location.
